I don't know why, but for some reason or another, no one I know seems to understand me as often as I feel like I understand myself...  either way... I wrote a poem while I was in a dark place recently.

Here it is for all the world to see:

Who AM I?

I am Not; God.
I am Not; A Liar.
I AM good enough for the world to LOVE ME, and they should, because it's the right thing to do; (and the reason that it's the right thing to do is because I said it IS!)

I am Not; A Christian Man.
I am Not; Famous; yet...
I am Not; The Great IAM.

I am in Jail.
I shouldn't be.
I am Not; A Criminal.

IAM probably not who you think I AM.
I most certainly do NOT know myself as well as you might think I should.

It's not important for me to tell you my Name.
But if you haven't figured out who I AM,
then I'm worried that you might never really try to know me.
